Terms and conditions

DRAFT, not yet published · last edited 29-07-2026
This is a starting point, not a legally reviewed document. Have it checked before going live (for example via a lawyer), fill in the marked fields once the business registration is complete, and remove this block.

1. Who we are

Bloome is a service of [trade name of the sole proprietorship], registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number [KVK number], VAT number [VAT number, or "exempt under the KOR scheme"], located at [address]. Reachable via [contact email address].

2. What you're buying

Bloome is a monthly membership with journaling and self-care content, in three packages: Starter, Reset and Reset+. The contents of each package are described on the signup page at the time you sign up. We may add to or change the contents of a package over time; the core (access to the monthly editions matching your package) stays the same.

3. Price and payment

Prices on the site are in euros and include VAT. At signup you choose between monthly or yearly billing (at a discount). Payment runs through our payment processor Stripe, via iDEAL (first payment) or direct debit (renewal). The subscription renews automatically in advance for the chosen period until you cancel.

Founding members. For the first fifty members: as long as your membership runs uninterrupted, the price you paid at signup stays unchanged, even if we raise the price for new members later.

4. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time via "Manage membership" in your profile. Cancelling stops the next payment; you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for. There is no notice period and no minimum term.

5. Right of withdrawal

Bloome is a digital service that becomes available immediately after signing up. By signing up and agreeing to these terms, you explicitly request immediate delivery and waive the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once the service has been delivered.

Note: this waiver must be actively confirmed by the customer (for example via a separate checkbox at signup), not just stated here. That is still missing from the signup form.

6. Liability

Bloome offers journaling and self-care content for inspiration and is not a substitute for medical, psychological or financial advice. We do our best to keep the service available and correct, but we are not liable for damage caused by temporary unavailability or errors in the content, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. While Bloome is free in beta, the service may be interrupted for maintenance and parts may change or disappear. Photos you add to your timeline stay on your own device: we do not store them and therefore cannot restore them if you lose them.

7. Changes

We may amend these terms. In case of a material change, we will let you know by email or a notice in the portal, at least thirty days before the change takes effect.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law.
